preparing for Out In Out

It is my hope that this body of drawings trigger several associations within the viewer. I have removed the outer layer of clothing, and exposed what may, or may not be under every lady’s skirt. That’s for the viewer to decide.

Some drawings are serious, some are humorous or delicate and they all quake with ephemerality. The bodily region I have chosen to objectify is marked by so many things that predate our modern society; sex, childbirth, shame, cleanliness, pleasure, maturity and puberty. I can’t help but notice, in our late modernity, image has the power to define or deny anyone.
